GASTRONOMIC VALENCIA

Valencia food tour

A walk through the city that combines culture and gastronomy. During a small group tour of the historic center, you will visit the Lonja (old silk fair) and the surroundings of the cathedral. In a traditional horchateria, a refreshing local drink is served, made from ground almonds. In addition, during the visit to the central market, a tasting is organized where ham, cheese, wine and olives will be tasted. The tour can end at a pintxo bar in the city center where various pintxos (tapa on a slice of bread) are served in a casual setting.

Paella Workshop

Highly recommended for small groups. In 2 locations in the heart of the center, workshops are organized in the morning and in the evening for small groups of up to 20-25 people. In the morning workshop, the Central Market is visited before the workshop and the last purchases are made. A Spanish or English speaking chef explains step by step how to prepare paella. During the preparation there is time for an aperitif and then we will taste the paella during a joint lunch or dinner, accompanied by a delicious Spanish wine. Also great as a teambuilding activity!

Tapas tour

Route through the historic center interspersed with stops at various bars / restaurants where we taste different tapas. The route can end in a bar where the local Agua de Valencia cocktail (gravy d'orange, cava and liquor) is served.

Wine Tour

Enjoy a fantastic day and wine tasting in Utiel-Requena. By coach we arrive in Requena in an hour. Along the way you can enjoy beautiful views of the mountains, orange trees and, of course, the vineyards. The region has been producing wine for many years and the old center "La Villa" in Requena is of Spanish heritage. Of course we will visit a winery: a family vineyard where the family members are happy to explain and warmly welcome you. They not only produce wine, but also olive oil and cosmetic products based on grapes.

Route of the 4 markets

Visiting the local markets of Valencia is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the local food culture and get a glimpse of daily life. You can enjoy the colorful shelves, the bustling atmosphere and the lively chatter of shoppers and merchants. We love taking you to four of Valencia's markets and neighborhoods. Along the way, you can sample food and drinks in family-run shops. An ideal introduction to the Valencia food scene!
