If there was already enough time to visit Porto on the first day, we could also opt for a tour along the West Coast to Viana do Castelo : a beautiful town at the mouth of the Lima river or even to Valença do Minho on the border with Spain with beautiful views of Tui on the other side of the Miño. We can follow the Lima river to Ponte Da Barca and Ponte de Lima to descend again to Porto.

In the beautiful valleys of the Douro Valley, grapes grow for the famous Vinho Verde. Day 7 : Aveiro - Luso / Coimbra

From Aveiro we drive through the Dao wine region to Luso. Luso is known for the mineral water that still flows from the city's many sources. Tonight we can stay in an old hunting palace of the last Portuguese kings, Palace hotel de Bussaco or we continue to the university city par excellence of Portugal: Coimbra , which was the medieval capital for more than a hundred years.

The Baixa neighborhood is worth a visit, with its impressive square on the banks of the Tagus, Praça do Comercio and so many other attractions.
